About

A 6-week textile art program for students in Grades 2–6. Participants will design and construct original soft sculptures, including stuffed animals, unusual creatures, wearable pieces, and room décor.

Students will explore sketching, pattern-making, hand and machine sewing, embroidery, crochet, and fabric embellishment before creating a final project of their own design. No previous sewing experience is required. Classes are led by Madeleine Bell, and pizza will be served during the final class. Students may need to provide their own fabric for the capstone project.
